Plant-Based Diets or Mediterranean diets

A plant-based diet revolves around eating only foods such as, of course, plants. But plant-based diets don’t just include plants. Things like nuts, seeds, rice, beans, and even occasionally dairy products. Plant-based diets, unlike vegan or vegetarian ones, can actually include animal products as well. As the name implies, plant-based diets are based around plants or “natural” foods. That doesn’t mean that’s all you can eat. A typical plant-based, or Mediterranean diet, allows for you to occasionally enjoy other foods.

Mediterranean diets have been found to reduce risk for heart disease, diabetes, and improve mental and physical wellness. They also allow you to better absorb nutrition, benefiting your immune system, reducing inflammation, and stabilizing blood sugar.
